Hacienda San Jose belongs to a sustainable tourism project. We want to prove that is possible to offer unique experiences, comfortable stays and quality service having a sustainable philosophy.  We are committed with the Mother Earth and the Mayan culture to give them back all what they have given to us. In combination with Fundacion Haciendas del Mundo Maya A.C, support initiatives from the local Maya communities for promoting identity, recognition and recovery of the expressions of the Maya heritage to overcome poverty. This is implemented by providing opportunities in education, health, housing and self sustainable development with the participation of the population as promoters of their own social welfare projects.
